January

indeed, I start the first day of year 2012 with someone special.

while we are on the way to pub to meet his friends.




we did some craft work on 1st day of yr 2012.
special talent that my boyfriend possess.




it's cousin Kenneth 18th bdae on 18th January.



Chinese New Year came early this year.
23rd and 24th January.
some decoration of the centre.

and I had enculturation from 16th January till 20th January,
so I didn't celebrate CNY with my children on 20th January (Friday).

It's the dragon year.
went over to boyf house for reunion dinner (:



21st January was supposed to be my working Saturday.
but I took Saturday-off-in-liu!(:






love spending CNY with family.
and boyf joined.
we visited his family and my family.
so loved(:







I took leave on 25th January, third day of CNY since whole family not working.
we had a great day out!

my life revolve around work,
now that I am a full time teacher, no longer an assistant teacher.
(and how I am being tortured with so many children and my partner, Komathi, is not helping at all).

love how me and xinling are sooooo close.
we don't need a lot of friends, just a few true friends will do.

I bump into dear on mrt on a Tuesday.

Parent-Teacher Conference on 30th june 2012.
the day before, I went back to centre after my night class end at 10pm.
and guess what?
hajar was with me!
awwwwwwwwwwwww (:
we tidy up the corners since parents will be coming into centre for PTC.
 
 
 
we only went home about 3am?
and the next morning, I have to report at 7am (since I am the main teacher)
she can sleep a little bit more, but also report at 10am I guess.
hahahaha!

and so, the actual Parent Teacher Conference day.
Komathi came back for PTC since she took half the class the first half of the year.

I showed them during arrival and depature time a week after PTC.

anyway, I did PTC myself since Hajar got IELTS exam.
she joined me for the last 3 parents(:

ben's mum passed away peacefully on 26th dec 2012 after 2years plus of fighting with cancer.

my future mother-in-law,
I am really upset about your departure.
but I know you are now in a better place,
you are no longer in pain.
I will place you close in my heart, always and forever.
I will takecare of ben, I promise.

the last few days of year 2012 is spend at ben's mum wake.
30th December was the burial of her body in the coffin.

rest in peace, my love.



Year 2012 had been a bittersweet one.

being a full-fledged teacher is not easy.
there are never-ending things to do.
preparing materials for lesson, settling children down from crying, planning field trips, admin stuff (attendance, temperature list, height and weight, medication list), calendar of events, planning of occasions like CNY, mother's day, national day, Christmas.
there are just A LOT of things to do!
and fate decide it!
worst when met with horrible partner! (eg: komathi)
and better as burden is shared with awesome partners! (eg: hajar and hirah)

and on top of my busy schedule of work, family and friends,
I decided to commit myself to part-time night classes.
and that is when my endless sleep period begins.
JIAYOU JIAYOU JIAYOU!(:
it will be worth it!(:

though busy, I still spend quality time with family, boyfriend and friends (:

went overseas a couple of times.

Legoland and Hello Kitty Town with Ben in December.

experienced lots of bad news.
komathi heck care attitude make me break down at work.
Claudia broke up.
Jingfen experiencing unstable relationship.
Li hin broke up.
I didn't get sponsorship for uni from company.
Claudia injured herself at batam trip.
daddy bring up accident which happen 13years ago.
grandma hospitalised.
ben mum passed on.

still, there are good news to rejoice.
accepted in degree program (last cohort)
scored well for my 1st quarter of uni life.
mary got attached.
I survived first half of the year at work with horrible partner.
Janelle (ben's niece) was brought into this wonderful world in Aug.
Casabelle (cousin Cynthia's baby) was born in Oct.

I passed IELTS, means can teach all levels.

all in all,
I had a stable relationship with Ben(:
my family ties are strong(:

and I am in contact with my close friends(:
(though lesser meet up due to my work and school, but they understand)
